The Business Development Department uses the stats from ThemeMap for funding requests to both the government and to the business community. We were able to provide the socioeconomic picture of a neighbourhood, using ThemeMap, to a business that donated computers. They wanted to provide the income levels, education levels and ESL numbers in their press release to outline the need.
